We’ve Got A Few Stashed Away Somewhere

“GO Communications and our colleagues have won more awards, achievements and accreditations over the years than we can keep track of, so we usually just tell our clients that ‘We’ve won a bunch of awards’. We’ve also been recognised and honoured by our peers for our heritage in the PR/communications line and some of us have even had our mug shots appear in highly-respected industry publications. Here’s just a small sample of what’s stored away in our award archives.”

Awards
Intl Who's Who
Our collaboration with Sarawak Tourism gave us five gold PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) awards – the first time one firm swept that many honours in PATA’s 50-year history. We also won 30 other PR awards worldwide for our efforts to re-brand Sarawak – The Hidden Paradise of Borneo.
Sarawak Tourism
In 75 years, International Who's Who has been documenting biographies in history of successful individuals. GO Communications is one of the leading and fastest growing PR agencies in Asia.

Project Phoenix
GO Communications’ colleagues bagged the prestigious Silver Quill Award for Outstanding CSR Campaign for Project Phoenix, a crisis management programme that was implemented when SARS swept the Asian region in the middle of 2003. We were also nominated for the World Gold Quill Award.

Recognition
Superbrands
GO Communications’ Michael De Kretser once sat on the Malaysian Superbrands Council, a board comprising some of the most respected individuals in the media, communications and marketing industry. Its members explore the history, development and achievements of many of the strongest brands in Malaysia and the world.

The Peak
Michael De Kretser was highlighted in the first edition of People at the Peak’s ‘Who’s Who of Malaysia’ under the Advertising, Public Relations and Communication section titled “Trendsetters and Brand Builders”.

Clueless In Public Relations
GO Communications’ colleague MDK Public Relations Singapore
is mentioned in the authoritative tone Clueless in Public
Relations for our work with Sarawak Tourism, placing
the Singapore Girl in Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and
for the Raffles Hotel April Fools’ Day joke under “Can
You Dream Up Ideas Like These?” (The MDK pranksters
claimed to have discovered a long-lost manuscript by
British author and one-time Raffles guest Somerset W.
Maugham and had lots of fun seeing the resulting article
published in the world’s media.)
